Chelsea 1 West Ham 1
Attendance: 41,675
A battling performance by West Ham gave manager Gianfranco Zola a share of the points on his return to Stamford Bridge, but it was another ex-Blue, Scott Parker, who stole the show.
West Ham took the lead in the 33rd minute with a superb volley from Craig Bellamy and went in at half-time a goal up against a sub-standard Chelsea. Didier Drogba's second half appearance breathed more life into the home side and they were level on 51 minutes thanks to Nicolas Anelka 100th Premier League goal. Chelsea then piled on the pressure as they looked for victory, but in truth both sides had their chances to win. That man Scott Parker headed off the line to save The Hammers while at the other end another ex-Chelsea player, Carlton Cole, missed a golden opportunity to win the game. 1-1 the final score.

Sunday 30th November 2008
Chelsea 1 Arsenal 2
Attendance: 41,760
Two goals in three minutes from
Robin van Persie gave Arsenal victory over Chelsea at Stamford Bridge. Chelsea went 1-0 up thanks to a mistake by Arsenal keeper Manuel Almunia threw the ball out to nobody in particular, giving possession to Chelsea. A resulting cross from Jose Boswinga was then put in the net by Arsenal's Johan Djourou to complete the comedy of errors. Van Persie's first goal on 59 minutes looked miles offside, but his second just three minutes later was a worthy winner of a London derby.

Sunday, 31st August 2008
Chelsea 1 Spurs 1
Attendance: 41,790
Spurs haven't won at Chelsea since 1990, but today they went to the Bridge and secured a 1-1 draw. Two mistakes by Darren Bent settled the game. The first came in the 27th minute when he failed to clear a Frank Lampard corner, allowing the ball to go in off Juliano Belletti. Then with half-time fast approaching, a mistake by Lampard at the other end gave Bent a scoring opportunity. His woeful first touch confused Petr Cech, allowing the Spurs striker to slot home through the goalie's legs.
