When it comes to football, winning trophies is all very well, but what really matters is who can go into work on a Monday morning with their head held high after a derby game.
It's all about bragging rights. |

Arsenal were once again the best team in London. In fact they lost just the once to London opposition - 1-0 at home to newly promoted West Ham.
West Ham actually faired pretty well against other London clubs, but that didn't stop them finishing bottom of the Division One table and facing relegation to , er, Division One!
That's right, next season sees the start of Premiership football with Division Two being renamed Division One.

Three points for a win, one for a draw, sweet FA for a lose.
Should two or more teams have the same number of points, goal difference decides bragging rights unless Cup football provides the decider.
Although in the good old days, clubs only received two points for a win in the League, the importance of beating your rivals means that no matter the season, three points for a win applies in the London Bragging Rights League.
