When it comes to football, winning trophies is all very well, but what really matters is who can go into work on a Monday morning with their head held high after a derby game.
It's all about bragging rights. |

League Champions Arsenal were the best team in London for the 1990-1991 season, pipping Crystal Palace to the bragging rights by a single point (Palace finished third in the League).
Spurs won the FA Cup, beating Nottingham Forest 2-1 after extra time. In the Semi Finals, Tottenham beat Arsenal 3-1 and so were unbeaten against the Gunners all season thanks to two goalless draws in League encounters.
In the League Cup, Crystal Palace beat Orient 1-0 after a 0-0 draw at Brisbane Road and Chelsea beat Spurs 3-0 away after a 0-0 draw at the Bridge.
West Ham were promoted from Division Two and would have been joined by Millwall had The Lions won through the promotion play-offs.

Three points for a win, one for a draw, sweet FA for a lose.
Should two or more teams have the same number of points, goal difference decides bragging rights unless Cup football provides the decider.
Although in the good old days, clubs only received two points for a win in the League, the importance of beating your rivals means that no matter the season, three points for a win applies in the London Bragging Rights League.
