When it comes to football, winning trophies is all very well, but what really matters is who can go into work on a Monday morning with their head held high after a derby game.
It's all about bragging rights. |

League Champions Arsenal were unbeaten against London clubs as far as League games went and were clear winners of bragging rights for the season.
Arsenal and Liverpool actually finished on the samer points and with the same goal difference so goals scored eventually decided the title race. Arsenal's 27 goals against London clubs obviously helped out big time there.
West Ham went into their last game of the season knowing a win was needed if they were to emain in the top flight. Unfortunately they were away to Liverpool who were loking to improve their gioal difference and goals scored and the Hammers went down 5-1.
Ironically, the onlyy London club to beat Arsenal all season was West Ham in the FA Cup. After a 2-2 in the Third Round at Upton Park, West Ham went to Highbury and won 1-0.
In the League Cup, QPR beat Charlton Athletic 2-1 at home and also knocked out West Ham, winning 1-0 at Upton Park after a goalless draw at Loftus Road forced a replay.
So West Ham are down, but Chelsea are straight back up after winning the Division Two title.

Three points for a win, one for a draw, sweet FA for a lose.
Should two or more teams have the same number of points, goal difference decides bragging rights unless Cup football provides the decider.
Although in the good old days, clubs only received two points for a win in the League, the importance of beating your rivals means that no matter the season, three points for a win applies in the London Bragging Rights League.
