Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham may well have finished above West Ham in the League, but bragging rights for the 1967-1968 season still headed East thanks to West Ham's form against other London clubs.

West Ham's 7-2 home victory over Fulham is one of the biggest wins in the top flight between London football clubs.

More bad news for Fulham. They finished bottom of Division One and were relegated - to be replaced by QPR who finished second in Division Two.

Arsenal lost to Leeds United in the final of the League Cup in a season in which Cup football between London clubs was sadly absent.

Three points for a win, one for a draw, sweet FA for a lose.

Should two or more teams have the same number of points, goal difference decides bragging rights unless Cup football provides the decider.

Although in the good old days, clubs only received two points for a win in the League, the importance of beating your rivals means that no matter the season, three points for a win applies in the London Bragging Rights League.
