When it comes to football, winning trophies is all very well, but what really matters is who can go into work on a Monday morning with their head held high after a derby game.
It's all about bragging rights. |

Bragging rights stayed in North London for the 1951-1952 season - they simply shifted from the Lane to Highbury.
Arsenal finished third in the League, missing out on the Runner's Up spot to Tottenham on goal average alone. But by beating Spurs away, the Gunners were unbeaten against London opposition all season to snatch the bragging rights to the Capital's top club from Spurs.
Arsenal also reached the FA Cup final, beating Orient 3-0 and Chelsea 3-0 (after a 1-1 draw) along the way.
Fulham finished bottom of the table and so were relegated from the top flight.
| Three points for a win, one for a draw, sweet FA for a lose. Should two or more teams have the same number of points, goal difference decides bragging rights.
Although in the good old days, clubs only received two points for a win in the League, the importance of beating your rivals means that no matter the season, three points for a win applies in the London Bragging Rights League.
