When it comes to football, winning trophies is all very well, but what really matters is who can go into work on a Monday morning with their head held high after a derby game.
It's all about bragging rights. |

Newcomers to the top flight, West Ham United lost just once to London opposition during the 1923-1924 and were the best team in the capital during the season.
There were four London clubs in the top flight that season with each team taking points off the others in what was a close run thing bragging rights wise. Sadly Chelsea's lack of goalscoring saw them relegated while West Ham's 13th final place was the best a London club could muster.
In the FA Cup, Crystal Palace of Division Two beat Spurs 2-0 at home in the First Round.
| Three points for a win, one for a draw, sweet FA for a lose. Should two or more teams have the same number of points, goal difference decides bragging rights.
Although in the good old days, clubs only received two points for a win in the League, the importance of beating your rivals means that no matter the season, three points for a win applies in the London Bragging Rights League.
